In some instances you may have value labels for your variables that are very long. When you try to show these on a graph they all run into each other or are in a very small font. To fix this problem, use the splitvallabels command to create value labels that will split over several lines rather than running in one big long line. Please note, for this to work the if/in qualifiers you want to use on the graph must also be used to make the labels. For example, if your graph is going to have the qualifier if variable < 3, then the splitvallabels command must also have the same qualifier.
